Painting Party @ Edison's - Thursday the 17th @ 4 pm - ?
Posted May 16th, 2007 by jbThis Saturday, May 19th is the annual Hessler Street Party - Hessler Unplugged.
A street Mosaic is being created, of painted sheets of cardboard, to cover the far end of Hessler Court.
Tremont has been asked to participate by creating cardboard tiles (painted sheets of cerdboard) to be incorporated in the mosaic.
Cardboard and paint will be available on the patio of Edison's Pub, for a paint party beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday May 17th.
Saturday morning, Jean and Barb will deliver those tiles to Hessler Court for installation.
Williamsburg = Tremont?

Home Library Literacy Campaign @ Merrick House
Posted December 13th, 2006 by merrickhouseHOME LIBRARY LITERACY CAMPAIGN: Merrick House and West Side Community House are working in collaboration with five Cleveland Municipal School District schools to help children build home libraries. Volunteers are needed anytime to collect books by holding book drives in their places of employment or other organizations with which they are involved. Volunteers are also needed periodically at Merrick House and West Side Community House to help sort books for distribution.
