Adam your weak [Tim You're Banned - AH]

"Tim, please refrain from name-calling in the future."

Oh please....

Adam, you wrote.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[private email correspondence redacted]

========================================================================

First off Adam I agree with you it was bad manners to post the email addresses. (Part of why my head exploded, although I failed to point that out in my post, my bad). However the solution was to delete those addresses and leave a note that you had done so. Not to delete the entire debate. That my friend was weak.

Second off. I called Henry a DICK. Thats all. Oh there were a few "F" bombs in my post but I tempered them with the old F**k, routine. Henry has been called far worse then that on this site.

Finally, the issue is germain and important. Like it or not we are talking about not only taking someone's home but tearing it down. As much as I agree with the decision, it F**king SUCKS, and should not be buried simply because you can't abide my calling Henry a DICK.

ADAM YOUR WEAK!!

Delete the email addresses and put the posts back. You gravel licking, toe sucking, mouth breathing, licker of codpieces.

TCJ

Athletics in Tremont

I am wondering if there are any sports leagues for Tremont residents. I'm moving to Tremont mid-July and am looking for any information about Tremont sport leagues. Looking for any sport - baseball, basketball, bowling, kickball, darts, flag football, anything really. Any info would be great, thanks.

[redacted] are you a [redacted] why did you take my obama posts off

Hi Guy,

I sent you an email about this. You should have replied to that instead of misusing the site to call me a racist. I took your posts off because Tremonter isn't the place to talk national politics. Local/County politics, sure, but this isn't a place to talk about just any old thing you please.

Since you decided to make it personal, and public though:

I'm going to deactivate your account for a week as a timeout to let you think about what ways are appropriate/inappropriate for using this site. This being the internet, that kind of stuff can show up to haunt people much later. You should not just toss out accusations of racism when it pleases you. There is also a general rule that we don't do name-calling here on Tremonter.

We've had this conversation several times before, you seem to keep forgetting what we've talked about. Just because something happens to you in Tremont, doesn't mean it needs to be posted on Tremonter.

806 Literary

I live in the neighborhood. I walked by the 806 Literary signage last night. I have to say I find it inappropriate for our neighborhood. The image of a woman, on her back drinking a martini with her legs in the air, dress hiked up to her hips with garter belt showing sends the message that if your looking for a whore, Tremont is the place.

The sign on this building includes the name of the bar written in cursive. At first glance, "eight -O - six" reads "eight-O-sex". This enormous sign does what advertisement is meant to do, it sends a message. To drive home the point, as I was standing there, four young men, probably ranging in ages from 16 to 19, who live in the neighborhood, stopped to ask if 806 Literary was a new strip club.

We in Tremont strive to build a safe, sophisticated environment where people can enjoy a quality of life not easily found in urban neighborhoods. We want to provide an area that represents the best of Cleveland . Attracting investment by business owners and homeowners into Tremont is our goal. Providing a wholesome environment for children is our goal. So how we present ourselves truly matters. This sign is a reflection on all of us. Do we want to be the next Flats, or Warehouse district, or East 4th Street ? Or do we want to continue down the path we as a neighborhood have already established.

  Remove the sign.

Wine Bar?

At Visible Voice, I saw a sign that said The Wine Bar will open on the patio July 4. Is this something permanent? Is this the Wine Bar from Market Street?
