convergence-continuum presents BURIED CHILD by Sam Shepard at the Liminis theatre, 2438 Scranton Rd.  Tremont residents are admitted free of charge for all Thursday performances, thanks to a grant from the Cleveland Foundation's Neighborhood Connections Program.  Call 216-687-0074 to reserve your seats.

The setting is a squalid farmhouse occupied by a cantakerous whiskey-swilling grandfather; a pious grandmother who goes on drinking binges with the local pastor; and their sons: Tilden, a former All-American footballer who's now a hulking semi-idiot; and Bradley, who's lost one leg to a chain saw.  Into this craziness comes Vince, a grandson none of them recognizes or remembers, and his girlfriend, Shelly, who can't comprehend the lunacy into which she is suddenly plunged.  The family guards a dark domestic secret, that Shelly tries to unravel, while mysterious crops suddenly start to appear in the fields.

BURIED CHILD is a funny, creepy, thought-provoking play that runs at the Liminis Thu-Sat at 8 pm thru October 25.  Tickets are $15 gen. admission, $12 students/seniors.  TREMONT RESIDENTS FREE ON THURSDAYS.

RESERVE YOUR SEATS BY CALLING AHEAD AT 216-687-0074.
