convergence-continuum, Tremont's resident professional theatre company, presents FREAKSHOW at the Liminis theatre, through August 23, and Thursday shows are free for Tremont residents.

The Liminis has been transformed into Mr. Flip's travelling Freakshow at the turn of the last century for convergence-continuum's latest play.  Step into the big top and see Aquaboy the Human Salamander, the Dog-Faced Girl, Amalia the Woman with No Arms and No Legs, and the Pinhead -- hear their stories.  Will they guy who cleans out the animal cages win Amalia's heart?  Will a love-struck townie girl charm Aquaboy into leaving the show?  Will Mr. Flip get the hermaphrodite baby he's been looking for?  All these stories and more, in this sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes creepy show.

The show starts at 8 pm, but be there by 7:45 to catch the pre-show festivities and acts.  The show runs Thu, Fri, Sat thru Aug 23 at the Liminis theatre, 2438 Scranton Rd. (near Pizza Pan).  Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 students/seniors.  TREMONT RESIDENTS GET IN FREE ON THURSDAYS (JULY 31, AUG 7, 14,21).  To make reservations call ahead at 216-687-0074 and say you're a Tremont resident.  Or just show up at 7:45 on a Thursday and let us know you're a Tremonter.
