FREE NEIGHBORHOOD NIGHTS AT THE THEATRE continue throughout June for Thursday night performances of IN THE GARDEN at the Liminis theater, 2438 Scranton Rd. (between Starkweather and Kennilworth).  Thanks to a grant from the Cleveland Foundation's Neighborhood Connections Program, free nights for Tremonters are June 5, 12, 19 and 26.

Presented by Tremont's professional alternative theatre company, convergence-continuum, IN THE GARDEN, is a nicely off-beat and irreverent drama/comedy that takes a swipe at social, sexual and religious norms with its complex blending of wit, infidelity and outrageous philosophizing.  The lives of four urban sophisticates are rocked by their encounters with Gabe, a beautiful young man who is everything but what he seems.  With unworldly charm, Gabe constructs a web of sensuality, sexual identity, seduction and Biblical theology that rocks the worlds of a professor of philosophy, his fashionista wife and their slick young friends as they try to meet the young man's erotic and spiritual challenges.  (NOTE: Contains mature adult content.)

The show runs Thu-Sat through June 28.  Tickets $15 general, $12 for student/seniors or FREE on Thursdays for Tremont residents.  Call ahead at 216-687-0074 to reserve your seats, or just show up at the theater fefore 8 pm.  For more info on convergence-continuum and the play, visit http://www.convergence-continuum.org.
