Thomas Stacho      Friday, May 23, 2008                                                       216.623.5033  Male Sought in Westside BurglarySuspect believed to be in possession of stolen assault weapon  CLEVELAND – Michael McGrath, Chief of the Cleveland Division of Police, is asking for the public’s help in locating a male wanted for a burglary during which a gun safe and a variety of firearms were stolen.  Among the weapons stolen and in the possession of the suspect is an AK-47 assault weapon. Police are looking for 18-year old Jason Gallardo of 714 Literary Rd. in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood.  Gallardo was part of a group of four men who burglarized a home in the 3700 block of Cress Ave. yesterday.  Gallardo’s accomplices were arrested by First District Detectives at addresses in Brooklyn and Parma. Gallardo is believed to be in possession of four firearms taken during the burglary including the above assault weapon.  He is known to frequent Cleveland’s westside and western suburbs including Brooklyn and Parma. Anyone with information on Gallardo’s whereabouts is asked to contact the First District Detective Bureau at 216.623.5518.                Jason Gallardo           6 feet; 1 inch      200 lbs
