There are serious and rampant rumors that the innerbelt bridge reconstruction will have a BIG IMPACT on our neighborhood.

The rumors are that TREMONT CAN AND SHOULD expect BOTH the ABBEY / and W . 14th RAMPS to be TOTALLY CLOSED for 3-5 years unless we can influence ODOT to keep them open throughout construction.

Has anyone heard about this? or is it only hearsay? (I hope)

If this is TRUE....unless we residents and business of Tremont make our concerns known immediately and LOUDLY ; We should expect that odot to close the W 14th and Abbey on and off ramps for the three to five duration of the innerbelt bridge reconstruction project because it will be BOTH ...

EASIER AND CHEAPER for odot than maintaining our current level of access.

WE MUST MAKE SURE THAT TREMONT'S REQUIREMENTS FOR UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS ARE CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY BOTH MAYOR JACKSON, AND GOVENOR STRICKLAND.

Our neighborhood and Councilman has been fighting this for a while now; we must stay in tune with this matter.
