Authors Ronald L. Burdick and Margaret L. Baughman will be here to sign copies of the book and chat with patrons.

Hi-lights, low-lights from
Hi-lights, low-lights from T.O.T.
Hi-light: The gyro stand--excellent food- wish they'd move into the hood.
Low-light: Rocco's massive ego, featured on two life-size cut-outs -- is Tremont big enough to contain his mammoth opinion of himself?
Hi-light: (1) food, (2)
Hi-light: (1) food, (2) people meeting, (3) people watching, (4) Boys from County Hell on the Treehouse patio.
Low-light: (1) not being able to leave the beer garden with beer. Assuming there is a permit involved, why can't the permit boundary be the entire street. (2) Professor street is badly in need of repaving.
If the Gyro stand was not representative of a neighborhood business, then why were they in the TOT in the first place? Maybe I'm missing something.
As to your comments about Rocco, I thought the life-sized cut-out holding a pot and a pan showed that he doesn't take himself too seriously. And even if we disagree on that, it was hilarious.
