In their first Tremont performance, Robert Cornelius and the Lucky Bastards play Sokolowski’s University Inn on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 10:00PM. The Lucky Bastards seamlessly blend innovative covers of seminal alternative country artists with high-energy rockabilly/roots music originals.

The Lucky Bastards features Southside native, Rich Ellis, on drums in a rare neighborhood appearance; Guy DiLullo on washboard; Tony Primiano on bass; special guest Greg Harper on electric guitar, and Robert Cornelius on flat top guitar and vocals. In addition to the full band, the evening features an all acoustic set by Cornelius.

“We’re really lucky to have booked this great band into our place,” says Sokolowski’s co-owner, Mike Sokolowski. The Lucky Bastards will play in the bar. As always, Sokolowski’s University Inn serves up the finest stick-to-your-ribs menu (cafeteria-style) in the city. Dinner will be served until 9:00PM. In another stroke of luck for patrons, there is no cover charge.
