Security Camera Fundraiser

Having a sale to address the crime problem in a targeted area withing Central Tremont Block Club. Proceeds going toward night cameras and recording equipment for surveillance in a key problem area.

Starting with a few e-bay auctions and will soon have a home sale.

Check out the open auctions - some are ready to give gifts in a gift box - I've changed the link to show all the auction items in one view:

Items on Craig's List:
Monet Pins
St. Benedict's Medal
Opal Ring with gift box

Also, since these posts are going out to local folks, we can house the items at the Cleaner's for you to view and if you are going to give anything as a gift, we can provide gift wrap service with pickup in exchange for the shipping charges listed on the ebay auctions.

Thanks and happy shopping!

P.S. Phil P. came up with a great suggestions - implementing a donation option, so here goes:

You still have time to write

You still have time to write a Neighborhood Connections grant. If they fund your project - and you have to show how it will connect neighbors and be a positive influence on the neighborhood - they will give you anywhere from $500 to $5,000. There's about 2 weeks left.

Security Camera

Security Camera Grants-Although it may be important to outline that it is a safety issue for customers, elderly and children. This will help them to discern that this is not racially biased, but indeed a tool designed for the security of all in the neighborhood not just business's. Just a little advice per my experience in CMDC 2004-05.
