Snow Shovel Crew

Yesterday as I was walking to my bus stop an extremely nice woman with a snowblower had cleared the walk all the way up W. 11th. Since I almost die about 4 times each winter slipping on sidewalks, I thought it would be a good idea to form a snow shovel crew to set a good example and clear the sidewalks, especially for Tremont's older residents who might not be up to the task.
This also might be a good idea to pair up with the Merrick House Civility Project if Amy agrees. If you'd be interested in doing this, please comment here. I offered to do it for my block club last year, but didn't get any takers. I think being proactive might be the best way to go about it.
It is also good exercise and an excuse to drink beer afterwards.
