On Saturday, October 25, volunteers will spread cardboard, soil, mulch and straw to start the reclamation process of vacant, city-owned lot at 1168 Holmden Avenue off of W. 14th St.. Next spring, 1168 Holmden Avenue will be planted with over 100 varieties of native plants, turning a vacant city lot into a pocket garden for birds, butterflies and residents to enjoy.
