This July, the Northeastern Ohio Antiwar Coalition (NOAC) will sponsor a series of films that document war resistance from a variety of perspectives.
The
films, which are free and open to the public, will be shown each Monday
at 7:30 PM at Visible Voice Books. Doors at the bookstore will open at
6:30 PM, and moviegoers are encouraged to come early to browse the
shop’s wide selection of books.

Arts in August is a FREE, casual, fun-for-all-ages month of outdoor performances in Tremont’s Lincoln Park. On August 15th and 16th, Groundworks Dance Theatre will perform contemporary dance underneath the stars. Bring a lawnchair or a blanket, sit back and enjoy the show! Cleveland police officer Brian LaNasa will be holding 'office hours' on Tuesday night in the TWDC offices. He will be available from 5-7pm at 2406 Professor on 8/19.
Officer LaNasa will be on-hand for two hours each week to take complaints, file reports, provide a sounding board and be a resource for Tremont's residents. As he will be based in the office, he cannot take reports for certain crimes that occurred off-site at another time (like Breaking & Entering).
