Greetings from Eikona Studios. We are having the Auction for the Artists #16 !!!
You and everyone is invited!!! The auction features one-of-a-kind works of art including paintings, photography, collage, glass, metal, ceramics and the UNUSUAL!!! Preview begins on Friday, December 8, from 5-10pm ( same night as the Tremont Artwalk and Holiday Hop ). More previewing on Saturday 12-6pm. Seating Begins @ 7:45pm. convergence-continuum is hosting the December 2006
www.tremontindependent.com film and video festival December 8, 9 and 10
at the Liminis theater in Cleveland's historic Tremont neighborhood.

The festival is curated and run by convergence-continuum company member
Eric Wahl, a local independent filmmaker with dord
(http://www.dordperiod.com). Admission is by freewill donation.

On Friday there is a "new shorts program", including the piece "first
person plural" written and directed by convergence-continuum's artistic
director Clyde Simon and starring company members Geoff Hoffman, Jovana
Batkovic, Lucy Bredeson-Smith, and Brin Metzendorf. This will be followed
by a special "dordperiod.com 2005-2006 program" of over an hour of
completed shorts from the past year and a half. At the show the dord.dvd
"volume one" with 16 dord shorts and 5 art excerts will also be available
for purchase ($10).

Feature length films are being shown SAT the 9th and SUN the 10th,
check the web site http://www.tremontindependent.com for details.

Ohio EPA and the Cleveland Division of Air Quality have announced they will hold an “information session” to discuss hazardous waste violations at General Environmental Management. Ohio EPA cited GEM in September for eleven counts of violations of hazardous waste storage, labelling, disposal, transportation, design, and operations laws.
